The Wordwindow Story

Dear Parents and Teachers,

Our goals here at Wordwindow are to motivate language development and intellectual growth in babies and young kids.   Our programs are designed to create very early learning, so that when your kids enter school, they will already know many of the basics!   We have chosen Language, Math, and Music for our early learning topics.

To accomplish our goals, we reviewed the latest child development research conducted at leading universities in the United States and around the world.   Next, we constructed an early learning method based on our own vision of child development.   The result is Wordwindow!   Research shows that exceptional learning occurs when sight, sound, and other stimuli are linked in time and location.  We strongly believe in this, and so throughout all of our video products, we synchronize human vocals with the movement of shapes and colors.   By this method, we feel we have designed a way to produce long-lasting audiovisual memories of Language, Math, and Music!

Our team, lead by a Ph.D. in Infant Speech Perception, had another mission in mind for Wordwindow.   We wanted to encourage kids to have fun with their voice!   And so, in addition to phonetics and word sounds, we have included lots of silly sounds.   It is our sincere hope that Wordwindow will motivate your baby or small child to produce a wide variety of vocal expressions, while also learning essential concepts and language skills.   Imagine the possibilities!

And so, to the sights and sounds of a bright future, we offer Wordwindow!
